How the Wolves came to Gor...
The story begins on a sunny day at Cape Canaveral, Florida. The mood in the space shuttle was a cross between nervousness
and excitement. It is T-minus 1 minute till lift off not a word was spoken in the group on board. The rumble of the engines
of the shuttle was deafening. The com crackles and Mission Control gives the go ahead for lift off. The G-forces were much
more than the group anticipated. The shuttle started its climb into the Florida sky. Then it happened. The world was stunned,
the shuttle had blown up in the sky. Or did it?
A ship lay crashed in a desert, a moan is heard from within it. A
man is struggling to pull a body from the wreckage. It is a woman. They are wearing identical uniforms. He pulls her from
the twisted metal and collapses near her. Both are breathing. He fights to stay conscious but the darkness over takes him.
Not long after that a band of raiders from Klima came to scavenge the wreck in the desert. There, lying just paces from the
twisted metal, they found a man and a woman barely clinging to life. They pulled them a safe distance from the strange metal,
just then there was a burst of energy and the metal was gone. As if it had never been there. They then took them to their
camp where they nursed them to health. The man came alert first. His memory was almost dimished. He was disoriented. The words
on his flight suit were "WOLF" that is what he called himself. Soon after the the woman began to recuperate as well
and recovered with her memory of the past.
The men around them spoke in a strange language they didnt understand.
They seemed to treat the woman with some disregard as if she were unimportant but seemed very interested in what Wolf had
to say. Communication was almost impossible. Female servants that seemed to fear, yet desired the men, tended to the woman.
They wore steel bands around their necks. Being very cunning, and knowing he was in an environment where only the strong survived,
he set out and started to succeed to win the respect of the raiders. Being well trained in the martial arts of earth he won
position with the raiders in battle. The woman started to learn some of the language from the servant girls. To her horror
she ascertained that the girls were not servants, but slaves to the men of the camp! She informed Wolf of this and began to
teach him the language of the raiders. It wasnt too much longer before they realized they were no longer on earth, they were
on a savage world called GOR.
The attraction between Wolf and his crewmate from the shuttle was growing stronger
everyday. After some time he asked the leader, in broken gorean, how a man took a woman to be his partner in life. This was
met by much laughter. He then learned that ALL woman were beneath men on Gor, but there was such a thing called Free Companionship.
A few days later the leader of the raiders performed a strange ceremony and the couple was then in a Free Companionship contract.
